PRIVACY POLICY

Houseofblanks.com respects all information provided by our customers as private and confidential. Your information is secured and encrypted with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Software and will never be shared with any outside affiliations or individuals.

CURRENCY

Houseofblanks.com processes orders in US Dollar (USD) and Canadian Dollar (CAD).  Only Canadian orders/accounts are processed in CAD.  All other countries orders are processed in USD. 

SALES TAX

Applicable Federal and Provincial Sales Tax is charged to all orders shipped within Canada. Sales Tax is not charged to orders shipped outside of Canada.  Your local government may charge local taxes before delivering to you.  Please research and check all applicable fees for importing into your country.

ORDER PROCESSING

Houseofblanks.com uses industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Encryption Technology.  A private key is used to encrypt your data, including your credit card information, to ensure it cannot be read while being transferred over the internet. All transactions are processed through Moneris.

SHIPPING POLICY

Please allow 3-5 business days for order processing and verification. House of Blanks will contact you with shipping options and final pricing once order is completed. All goods are shipped FOB, once the order is delivered to a transit company the goods are at the risk of the purchaser.

We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged shipments.

Orders shipped outside of Canada or the U.S.A. may/will be subject to applicable taxes, duties and/or import fees by your local government.  We have no up-front knowledge of these fees.  The carrier will attempt to collect these fees at the time of delivery.  Should they be unable to collect these fees, the shipment will be abandoned and you will not be eligible for a refund.  Please research what import fees are applicable in your country before placing orders. 

For USA Customers 

Our products are covered for duty free treatment through the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).  We supply a Certificate of Origin to the carrier for all shipments to the USA that should allow for duty free treatment to your order.  There may be other local fees or disbursements that are payable however the duties are not. Please feel free to contact us so that we may assist you if you are charged these fees.

If you have signed up for a wholesale account without a Tax ID, you will be contacted for one before we ship your order out. If your shipment is being held or in some cases sent back to us due to the lack of required information, we will not be responsible for any fees or delays that have taken place during transit. All shipping and freight charges are non-refundable.

If you are unable to provide us with a Tax ID and would like to provide us with your Social Security Number (SSN) instead, please sign up for a wholesale account with your personal information or let us know you need your account information changed.

For orders $2,500 or greater, you will be asked to fill out a 5106 form and provide a document as proof of your Tax ID upon placing the order. This information is required by the Customs Border & Patrol and your shipment will not be cleared without these documents. If you have already submitted a 5106 form to CBP in the past, there will be no need to repeat the process unless your information needs to be updated (address change, company's name change, etc). If you have any questions regarding this 5106 form or you would like us to check if you are already on file with CBP, please feel free to contact us at info@houseofblanks.com.

For UK Customers 

Our products are covered for duty free treatment through the Canada-UK Trade Continuity Agreement (Canada-UK TCA, CUKTCA).  We supply a Certificate Of Origin to the carrier for all shipments to the UK that should allow for duty free treatment to your order.  There may be other local fees, disbursements, and VAT that are payable however the duties are not.  Please do not pay any duties as we will be unable to help you recover any payments you make in that regard.  If the carrier is requesting to collect duties, please feel free to contact us so that we may assist you prior to delivery as these should not be paid. 

For EU Customers

Our products are covered for duty free treatment through the Canada-European Union Trade Agreement (CETA).  We supply a Certificate Of Origin to the carrier for all shipments to the European Union that should allow for duty free treatment to your order.  There may be other local fees, disbursements, and taxes that are payable however.  If the carrier is requesting to collect duties, please feel free to contact us so that we may assist you as these should not be paid. 

For South Korean Customers

Our products are covered for duty free treatment through the Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement (CKFTA).  We supply a Certificate Of Origin to the carrier for all shipments to South Korea that should allow for duty free treatment to your order.  There may be other local fees, disbursements, and VAT that are payable however.  If the carrier is requesting to collect duties, please feel free to contact us so that we may assist you as these should not be paid.
